Liber Tigris is not a book meant to be read from beginning to end in a single sitting — though you could. It is structured as a web of interconnected ideas, each gate opening onto others.
How to Read This Work
Sequential: Start at Gate 1 and proceed through all 231 gates in order. This follows the arc from Source through Separation, Mind, Matter, Pattern, Path, and Return.
By Pillar: Choose the pillar that addresses your current question. If you want to understand consciousness, begin with Pillar III. If you seek practical guidance, try Pillar VI.
By Association: Start anywhere. Follow the "See Also" links at the bottom of each gate. Let curiosity guide you through the web.
Citation Format
Liber Tigris uses a citation system modeled on sacred texts: [Gate:Verse]. For example, [4:7] refers to Gate 4, Verse 7. This allows precise reference to specific ideas across the work.
