Suburban Chic

Looks like they sprinkled some house seeds

Where the trees used to go

Watered them with credit cards

To make the strip malls grow

Cubicle culture Packaged up so nice

But the product in the package Ain’t worth half the price

Buy it, use it, throw it away Buy it again next week

No waste too small,  no house too big

And that’s Suburban Chic

Everyone’s a quarter acre king

With a kingdom of molded plastic

For friends we use the internet

And only Disney gives us magic

Cubicle culture packaged up so nice

But the product in the package ain’t worth half the price

Buy it, use it, throw it away, buy it again next week

No waste too small, no car too big

And that’s Suburban Chic

Now we’ve got a pre-teen parking lot paradise

And a home depot to  boot

We’ve got plastic crap that’s overpriced

And five miles in our SUV’s is an hour commute

We’ve got a President that believes in God

But not protecting His creation

Its no wonder that their kids do drugs

As the parents pave the nation.

Cubicle culture, packaged up so nice

But the product in the package ain’t worth half the price

Buy it, use it, throw it away, buy it again next week

No waist  too small, no plate too big

And that’s Suburban Chic
